House of Mark is within the Cairngorms, the UK's largest National Park, it is a historic building. Erected in 1779, it has been extended several times over the years and was partially reconstructed retaining its Scottish style. House of Mark has beautiful grounds extending to two acres. There are lawns surrounding the house and rolling towards the fields leading to many walks and a large walled garden with beautiful flowers and trees.

The House offers extremely comfortable accommodation for 12 people (including children), with 5 bedrooms, 9 beds, and 4 bathrooms. The House has a traditional-style kitchen with Aga, equipped with an electric grill and oven, microwave, toaster and dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. The utility room hosts a washing machine for your own use.

Garden

The entrance to House of Mark is via the walled garden, there are a number of pine trees surrounding the property, guinea fowl wandering around the gardens, and numerous wild birds and rare red squirrels. Sheep and horses in the adjacent fields.

Our sitting room, it’s yours to do as you please: enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, wine or whisky, or curl up on a chair with a book or just enjoy the view. A cosy fireplace and comfy chairs, make our sitting room feel special.
